Liked Millbrook, the hotel was picturesque down to the local pub. We were very satisfied with the affable staff. Enjoyable breakfast was available. The location was lovely, for example, Church of All Saints was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the venue. Besides, it was right by Plymouth, the surrounding fields, and walking in the Cornish countryside and seaside.

Stayed in an ancient farmhouse, enjoyed hiking and cycling, used the shared lounge for relaxation, had free WiFi to stay connected, and had a delightful breakfast box to start the day.
Who needs toilet paper anyway? It's a great way to test your resourcefulness, liberating rolls from pubs.

The stay wasn't a complete disaster as the bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was good. The location was also convenient for exploring the nearby area and attractions. Plus, the room was adequately clean and tidy.
The negatives far outweighed the positives. The breakfast was a real letdown as it was poor quality and lacking any variety.

We recently spent a wonderful weekend at a guesthouse in a charming village by the sea. the rooms were spotless and comfortable, with lovely en-suite bathrooms. the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great tips for places to eat and things to do in the area. the breakfast was hearty, filling us up for a day of exploring. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the village with its shops, pubs, and beautiful walking routes. We also enjoyed the convenience of nearby attractions such as lovely beaches and historic sites to visit.
The noise from the road outside which could be a bit disruptive at times, especially at night. with earplugs or a sound machine it was manageable, and we still had a lovely stay overall.

I had a brief stay at Manor Lodge and I cannot say enough positive things about it! Megan warmly greeted us upon arrival and was helpful throughout our stay. The beds were very comfortable in the twin room we stayed in, and the bathroom was nice. The Wi-Fi signal was also excellent in our room. The selection for breakfast was great, and Megan cooked it to order. If we ever come back to the area, we will definitely stay here again!
Nothing, all excellent! 👍

We stumbled upon Manor Lodge Guesthouse by chance and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. From the moment we spoke to the owner, Megan, on the phone, we knew we were in good hands.
Although there were a few minor inconveniences, like difficulty with parking and limited internet coverage in some rooms, these did not overshadow the overall positive experience.
